What started as a simple tree giveaway turned into something much bigger. It became a way for local families to take part in making their own neighborhoods greener, healthier, and more connected.

Through Subaru’s partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, more than 1.1 million trees have been distributed nationwide. It is the largest corporate tree distribution effort in the foundation’s history, with a focus on giving communities trees that are right for their local environment.

At Walser Subaru, we brought that mission directly to the Twin Cities.

We hosted a community tree giveaway at our dealership in Burnsville, where 100 trees were given to local residents at no cost. Each one was chosen to thrive in Minnesota’s climate and provide long-term environmental benefits.

The trees included:

• River Birch
