During the year of 2022, Walser Subaru Burnsville decided to provide support to the teachers and students at Edward Neill Elementary school. During that time, Subaru Burnsville donated $6,000, 10 supply kits, and supported over 300 students! Teachers at Edward Neill Elementary like Dena Bing, decided to use that money “to purchase educational centers, games and supplies for my special education students.” Fifth grade teacher Ryann Armstrong, decided to use the donation money to “help create a safe environment for our students learning and give them access to flexible seating and materials that will enhance their learning even more.” Through the AdoptAClassroom.org partnership, automaker and retailers have helped more than 300,000 students nationwide get the resources their classrooms need to succeed. According to AdoptAClassroom.org, more than 92 percent of classrooms have students whose families cannot afford to purchase any school supplies for their children. Many teachers are filling the gap by spending their own money, on average up to $750 each year, to equip their classrooms and students. Walser Subaru Burnsville continues to work hard to provide a better learning community and show that Subaru is one of the most caring brands in the nation.
