People know what power Subaru cars have, and how respected they are - and if you own a vehicle like Subaru's Outback, you may be asked to help out in a pinch.
According to reports, people driving Subaru cars will become very popular during bad weather conditions, at least it is suggested they try. The manufacturer claims that motorists happy enough to own Subaru cars will be called on to rescue other rides trapped in snowy conditions.
Subaru is now preparing customers for a long period of winter weather by offering practical driving tips, along with advice on how to use their Subaru cars to pull other vehicles free.
The group's UK marketing director, Kenyon Neads, said that Subaru vehicles have less to fear from snow and ice, thanks to their advanced all-wheel drive systems.
"I helped rescue a neighbor in a German rear-wheel-drive vehicle from his own driveway last year, and we know many of our customers will find themselves in similar situations as soon as the snow falls," he said.
Subaru recently claimed its appearance at the Ski & Board Show proved popular with extreme sports participants, which form a significant part of its target market.
