Subaru Impreza Redesign - More Details

Subaru played host to a 2010 Impreza Design Concept, which the Japanese automaker recently debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show. It features an updated look for the sedan, and we've got a few more details on the ride.

The Impreza Design Concept is a preview of what's coming with next-generation's Impreza model. The concept is quite a departure from the current Impreza. It has an aggressive, muscular design with  "linebacker shoulder" lines, which should appeal to the American market. Critics may not take kindly to the new hexagonal grille. We'll wait to see what fans have to say.

Some believe Subaru may have released this concept online to get some feedback from the public on its new design direction. Subaru enthusiast can only hope that if they talk up the features they like and those they do not, their voices will be heard.

The next Impreza will receive Subaru's newly developed 2.0 liter Boxer engine coupled to a Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). The new powerplant configuration promises greater economy than the current 2.5 liter Boxer engine.

Speaking of that current Impreza, test drive one today at Walser Subaru - 600 West 121st Street in Burnsville, MN 55337.
